Be an examiner
As an examiner with Pearson Clinical Assessment, your main role will be to recruit participants and collect data for the standardisation phase of the development of our assessments.
In this phase of collection, the assessment is tested under standard conditions with the items and instructions. This sample usually includes a retest reliability study, multiple validity studies, and candidates with clinical diagnoses. The sample collected during the standardisation phase is usually fully stratified to reflect population characteristics captured by the census.
If you are selected to work with us as an examiner, you will receive comprehensive training in the new assessment, and then go into the field to test participants. If you are interested in learning more about our current projects, please click the sign-up links below.

Motor ability assessments (3–25 years)
This assessment is designed to assess motor ability in children and young people aged between 3 and 25 years old. It involves individuals completing simple physical tasks such as balancing and catching, as well as some fine motor control tasks such as writing and drawing.
We are looking for physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech and language therapists, research psychologists, educational psychologists and PE specialists, who have experience in administering standardised assessments to individuals aged between 3 and 25 years (you do not need to have assessment experience with the whole age range).
