Kimberly J. Vannest, PhD

Dr. Kimberly Vannest is currently the Department Chair and Professor at the University of Vermont. She began her career in education as a high school teacher and coach in southern California and has worked in partnership with K-12 schools and Higher Education in Missouri, Colorado, Texas, Louisiana, and North Carolina for 30+ years. Dr. Vannest demonstrates a life-long commitment to equitable access to education through her practice partnerships and scholarly work including the development of software and publication of more than 120 academic papers and books and nearly 20M in funding for school-based projects. She is the leading author of the Classroom Skill Builder, the Parent Tip Sheets series, and the BASC III Intervention Guide.
