The course also covers the Adaptive Behaviour subscale and its use when direct assessment is not feasible or as part of a comprehensive evaluation.

Course DescriptionThe course covers all new, revised, and updated items in the Bayley-4, offering thorough explanations and hands-on practice. Participants will gain in-depth experience with the new polytomous scoring system and explore how caregiver questions are integrated throughout the assessment, including their role in determining basal and ceiling levels. The course will also highlight the new categories of "related" and "shared" items. Attendees will practice administering new and modified items and enhance their understanding of the updated scoring system by observing instructional videos. The session will also cover practical applications of the new Adaptive Behaviour subscale, such as its use when “hands-on” assessment is not feasible or as a valuable component of a comprehensive evaluation.
