Dr Calum Hartley has been a Lecturer at Lancaster University since 2014 and is affiliated with the ESRC International Centre for Language and Communicative Development.
His research focusses on how minimally verbal children with autism spectrum disorder understand pictures and learn words. Calum completed his BSc in Psychology at Lancaster University in 2010 and was awarded his PhD in 2014, also at Lancaster University. He has recently been awarded an ESRC Future Research Leaders early-career fellowship that started in October 2016.
