If you are a registered user and your contact details have changed, you can update them by logging into My Account. Alternatively, please call us on 0845 630 8888 (Calls cost 3p per minute plus your phone company's access charge).

Who can purchase Pearson Assessment tests?

You have to be registered to buy most Pearson tests. If you wish to buy online please add the products you want to your basket and "proceed to checkout" where you will be able to register and create an account through our e-commerce system. Alternatively if you just wish to register, please use this online registration form.


Do you offer Research Discounts?

Pearson Clinical and Talent Assessment provides research assistance, on a case-by-case basis, to a wide variety of education, health, non-profit and private organisations undertaking research utilising Pearson Clinical and Talent Assessment products.

How do I go about ordering Pearson Assessment tests?

Once you are registered (please quote your registration number on all correspondence), you can order Pearson Assessment products in any of the following ways:

Phone: Call Customer Services on 0845 630 88 88 (Calls cost 3p per minute plus your phone company's access charge).

Online: Select the relevant product and follow the instructions from there

Fast Shop: If you already know the ISBN of the product you would like to purchase, Fast Shop is a quick and easy way of ordering.

Offline: Download the order form and then fax, email or post it to us

Do I have to pay VAT?

You have to pay VAT in the UK unless you are VAT exempt. If this is the case you must supply us with your VAT exemption certificate, we will then refund the VAT.


How can I pay?

You can pay by cheque or by credit/charge card: Visa, American Express, Mastercard, Switch or Delta. All payment must be received in sterling. Alternatively we can pro-forma you for your goods.


Can I use discounts or offers received from Pearson Education Ltd?

Offers or discounts from Pearson Education Ltd (which includes Heinemann, Ginn, Rigby, Raintree, Payne Gallway and MyPrimary) do not apply to any Pearson Assessment products.

50% discount on school accounts that have a child of an employee attending does not apply to Pearson Assessment products.


How long until I get my order?

Please allow 5 working days for delivery.


What shipping options can I choose from?

Test materials and related items are shipped via UK Parcel Post or DHL.


How are shipping and handling charges calculated?

Each delivery to a UK address will incur a £4.50 postage charge. Please contact Customer Services for postage charges for overseas delivery. Delivery usually takes 5 working days.


Can I return what I've bought?

We aim to provide products that are free from defects in materials and production. The nature of use regarding our assessment products incurs wear-and-tear, and reasonable deterioration of items can be expected. If we receive notice of defects during a 365 day period after the date of purchase, Pearson Assessment will, at its discretion (and where items are available), either repair or replace products which prove to be defective. We would expect any such items to be returned to us for examination prior to a decision regarding replacement being made. Replacement products may be either new, like-new, or a functionally equivalent or upgraded product.

Please note that Pearson Assessment will not replace products where it is deemed defects have resulted from misuse or unauthorised modification.

New Test Booklets, Record Forms and related materials may only be returned if they are damaged or sent to you in error. In these cases only unbroken, resaleable packages are accepted and must show complete name, address, invoice number and reason for return on all paperwork.

Please follow the guidelines below for return of goods. 

Please ensure you follow these procedures for prompt handling:

  • Check your order upon receipt. Do not open packages which you have not ordered - opened test packages cannot be accepted for credit.
  • If you receive incorrect materials or quantities, or damaged or defective items, please do not return the items. Please send us information about the error (including invoice number and date of order) to Pearson Assessment, Halley Court, Jordan Hill, Oxford, OX2 8EJ call 0845 630 88 88 (calls cost 3p per minute plus your phone company's access charge) or email
  • All claims of manufacturing defects are waived unless made in writing and delivered to the Seller within 30 days of receipt by the purchaser. Claims for manufacturing defects will not be considered if materials have been used, unless in the Seller's sole opinion the defect could not be detected before use
  • At all times, the Pearson returns procedures must be adhered to.

Our Sales Consultants provide free, no obligation product presentations or attend team meetings, in-service study days or regional conferences, either as speakers or to exhibit relevant materials. I need help with administering and scoring a test?

All of the answers regarding administration and scoring a test can be found in the manual. We suggest that you read this thoroughly before embarking on any administrations, paying particular attention to the introduction, administering and scoring sections of the manual. It is also useful to conduct at least one practice administration before using the assessment on a client. If after reading the manual you still have a query, please contact Customer Services.


I’d like to know what age a US grade is equivalent to?

Tests and documents of Pearson Assessment are copyrighted. They are not to be reproduced, resold or transmitted in any form or by any means, electronic or mechanical, including photocopying, recording or any information retrieval system without permission in writing from the publisher. The reproduction of any parts of the publisher's copyrighted tests or Record Forms in any way, whether the reproductions are sold or provided free for use. is a violation of the copyright law. No adaptations, modifications, or special versions may be made without permission in writing from the publisher; users are advised that any unauthorised adaptation, modification, or special version may affect the validity of the tests.
